Manchester United have not won a European competition in a full year.

Manchester United were held to a 1-1 draw by Fenerbahce in their last Europa League game on Thursday, making a three-game ยูฟ่าเบท winning run in the competition. 

That means Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United have not won a game in exactly one year, since their last win over Copenhagen last season. 

Manchester United beat Copenhagen 1-0 at home in the UEFA Champions League on October 24, 2023, exactly one year after their last Europa League game, a draw with Fenerbahce. 

United have also won just one of their last 11 European games and just one of their last seven in all competitions this season. 

“They got a point against us, not us against them. We played amazing. If we play like this in the Turkish league we destroy everything because of course we played against a team with superior level than us. The Premier League has more quality, more intensity and more everything.

“I think my boys did an amazing match. Probably in England people will speak of two or three players for Manchester United who did not play, you do not know how many of us didn’t play. At the start we had four players out of the list, and we had injuries. We had to do a crazy puzzle. Our performance was extraordinary. I could not ask any more from the players.”
